I started with 2x3x3/16" square tubing, and a 6000 # 8 lug axle that i had built from the local trailer supply store, a few sketches.
The plan was to build a trailer big enought fe 4 wheeler but keeping the track width the same as the truck, with all wheels having matching lug patterns, 1 spare fits all
View of 8 lug axle and 255/85/16 tires, axle has drilled spindles so grease is added between races
I had planed 24" sides but dropped down to 18 , frame and tongue complete, total tongue lenght 5'6" this allows me to jack the trailer slightly past 90deg without hitting truck

Sides and fenders on
I found these nice big fenders at Northern tool co. i was able to mig them right in place
I installed a 12000# bulldog coupler and 8000#n swivel jack
The tongue is 3x3x1/4 square tubing
Grinding and polishing welds
Tailgate hinge is made from 5/8" pipe and 1/2" rod
Primed and painted
I added a betterbuilt alluminium storage box to the front tongue
I then added 4 nato fuel cans and 2 nato water cans
